Created by Takeo Saito, Golgo 13 is the story of an assassin as the antihero, which reversed the standing of the typical “good versus evil” dramatic structure. Often compared to the films of James Bond, Golgo 13 is one of the most successful anime series developed specifically for adult audiences. Two feature-length films were made as a result of the series: The Professional and Queen Bee.
